Epic Games Store’s next free games have been announced

It’s Thursday again, which means that, as usual, Epic Games has announced that the latest games will be available for free on their Epic Games Store.

As we noted last week, this week’s free play is the board game-inspired strategy title Terrafmorning Mars, which can be picked up for free until May 12. While it might not be the most enticing offer we’ve seen from Epic Games, next week thankfully has a lot to offer existing and potential Epic Games Store users.

Giving away not one but two fantastic games in the form of Jotun: Valhalla Edition and Prey, next week certainly has a bunch of free games you don’t want to miss if you can bear to bring yourself to use the still much maligned Epic Games Store. .

Now that the preamble is done, here’s a bit more about each of the games that are available for literally nothing this week and next week:

Terraforming Mars – Available May 5-12

The taming of the red planet has begun! Companies are vying to turn Mars into a habitable planet by spending vast resources and using innovative technology to raise the temperature, create a breathable atmosphere and create oceans of water.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition – Available from May 12 to May 19

Jotun is a hand-drawn action-exploration game set in Norse mythology. In Jotun, you play as Thora, a Viking warrior who died an inglorious death and must prove herself to the gods to enter Valhalla. Impress the gods!
