Andy Cohen uses ‘a lot’ of dating sites ‘like video games’
Andy Cohen likes to sail.
“I’m on a lot of dating sites,” the Bravo maven told Page Six exclusively Monday during NBCUniversal 2022.
But Cohen, 53, said he just slips and doesn’t take the apps too seriously.
“I really use them more as video games,” he shared. “I use them more because I’m at home to kill time. Like, ‘It’s fun to watch.’ It’s more fun than playing Scrabble online, let me tell you.
Cohen has been spending more time at home lately since the arrival of his daughter, Lucy, who joins his big brother Ben.
“The baby is awesome,” he enthused. “So cute. She looks like Ben, which is exciting. I don’t sleep much, as you can probably tell. I have help, of course, but that doesn’t mean anything. My son wakes me up from earlier and earlier every day, so it’s chaotic.
As for Cohen’s day-to-day work overseeing the burgeoning “Real Housewives” empire, he confessed that it’s a balancing act between finding charismatic characters who won’t end up in jail or be not fired due to controversial social media posts.
“It’s the challenge to produce the show in 2022,” he told us. “Look, every woman on these shows is cast because she’s candid and dramatic and she’s fun to watch and you see what happens. That’s the race we’re all on.
The “Watch What Happens Live” host previously admitted to Page Six that the vetting process to find new “Housewives” is, like everything, “a work in progress.”
Other Bravolebrities at Monday’s swanky event, which took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in New York City, included “Housewives” Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais and Teresa Giudice and “Below Deck” star Captain Glenn Shephard.
