The cover features UMass Lowell player Noelle Lambert and is called “The Adversity Issue.” I think there was something in the tone of my voice that IL Editor in Chief Matt Kinnear could distinguish right away this was a different type of magazine process for me. While the common thread among all of the stories in the pages are, of course, lacrosse, these stories embody so much more than sport.
